This policy applies to downloadable templates, spreadsheets, checklists, guides and other digital products sold or distributed through OptiVal Advisory.

Digital delivery

Digital products are normally delivered electronically after checkout or through a download link sent to the email address provided. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to it. If delivery fails, contact info@opti-val.ca.

Compatibility and product information

Please review the product description, included files, software requirements, tax year or version, and intended use before ordering. Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchases do not include customization, implementation, professional advice or ongoing support.

Licence

Unless a product page states otherwise, each purchase grants one individual or one business a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for its own internal use. You may make reasonable working copies for that use. You may not resell, redistribute, share publicly, sublicense, upload to a template marketplace, remove ownership notices or use the product to create a competing product for sale.

Refunds

Because digital products can be accessed or downloaded immediately, purchases are generally final once delivery or download access has been provided. This does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights.

We will review refund or replacement requests where: the customer was charged more than once for the same product; the delivered file is materially defective or materially different from its description; or a technical delivery failure cannot be resolved within a reasonable time. Contact us within 14 days of purchase with the order email, order number and a description of the issue.

Free resources

Free downloads are provided as-is for informational purposes. OptiVal may update, replace or discontinue them at any time.

Updates and support

A purchase includes only the version described on the product page unless an update period or support commitment is expressly stated. Changes in legislation, tax rules, software or government guidance may make an older product unsuitable. Customers are responsible for confirming that a product remains appropriate before relying on it.

No professional advice or guaranteed results

Digital products are general tools and do not constitute accounting, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice. Results depend on the accuracy of information entered and the user’s circumstances. No particular financial, tax, compliance or business outcome is guaranteed.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Taxes are calculated where applicable.
